Find your problem in the list and try all troubleshooting methods until you find the solution that works for you.
1. Facebook connection is stuck
A) When connecting to Facebook, if the connection is stuck in an "attempting to connect" state, remove the feed and try again.
B) If A fails, remove the Facebook account again and attempt to connect from a different device/computer
2. Connected to Facebook but no Instagram Feeds appear
A) Make sure you have an Instagram Business Profile connected to a Facebook Business Page that is administered by your Personal Facebook Account. Double-check all the steps in this guide exactly > Connect to Instagram & Facebook
B) Go to Settings in Covet.pics and click Reconnect under your Facebook feed. Then try to add your Instagram Feed again.
C) Remove your Facebook Account and re-add it
D) If all the above do not work, disconnect and reconnect your Instagram connection on Facebook Business Pages by going to your Page > Settings > Instagram. Once down, go into Covet.pics > Settings and click Reconnect on your Facebook Account and try again.
3. Using Facebook Business Manager
A) Do not use Facebook Business Manager. You must use a Personal Facebook Account that is an admin on a Facebook Business Page.
4. Images are blank / white / not appearing
A) Click on the image from the Manage Photos tab and click the link to the Instagram Post. If it says the post no longer exists, then the post was deleted and you will need to manually hide / remove the image from Covet.pics
B) Go to Settings in the app and Facebook Authentication click Reconnect on your Facebook account. Click the Sync Images button above the images from the Manage Photos page. Wait 10-15 minutes and then refresh the webpage > Refresh Images
C) Go to Configure Channels and delete the Instagram feed. Click Save Changes (if available), and then re-add the feed, and click Save Changes again.
D) Go to Settings in the apps and remove your Facebook account. Then re-add it. Then repeat Step C.
After any step, Refresh your images
5. None of our older images synced - Missing older posts
A) On the free plan, we can only pull the most recent 50 posts
B) If you are on a paid plan, contact us and we can sync more images - support@spacesquirrel.co
6. New images are not showing up
A) Covet.pics only syncs once a day with Instagram automatically.
B) Click the Sync Images button above the images on the Manage Photos page > Refresh Images
C) Go to Configure Channels and delete the Instagram feed. Click Save Changes (if available), and then re-add the feed, and click Save Changes again. Then Refresh Images.
D) Go to Settings in the app and Facebook Authentication click Reconnect on your Facebook account. Then Refresh Images.
E) Go to Settings in the apps and remove your Facebook account. Then re-add it. Then repeat Step C (refresh and all).
7. Can't reconnect Facebook
A) Go to Configure Channels and delete the Instagram feed. Click Save Changes (if available), and then re-add the feed, and click Save Changes again.
Then try to Reconnect to Facebook afterward. Sync Images from the Manage Photos tab if necessary.
B) Go to Settings in the app and remove your Facebook account. Then re-add it. Make sure you allow all pages and permissions.
C) Repeat step A
